Few days ago, Nigerian artist Victor Ehikhamenor accused the British Artist Hirst of plagiarism in his Exhibition titled ‘Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable’ which opened last month in Venice. This piece bears exact colour and feature Ife historic sculptural object called the ‘Bronze Head from Ife’ or ‘Ife Head’ created in the 14th century. This questions the colonial project as another factor contributing to history cleansing again after being removed from the syllabus.
